The 5th Annual Conference, 4th - 6th September 2024

Call for Abstracts

We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for our upcoming conference focused on the theme “Integrated Emergency, Critical & Operative Care (ECO): Reducing Maternal & Child Mortality through Timely, Safe Surgery, Anesthesia, Critical, and Obstetrical Care.”  This conference aims to bring together experts, practitioners, and researchers to share knowledge, innovations, and best practices that can help reduce maternal and child mortality rates through integrated care.

The conference will feature four specialized tracks, each addressing critical aspects of emergency, critical, and operative care. We invite you to submit your abstracts for oral and poster presentations that align with the following tracks:

Track 1: ABC – Capacity Building in Anesthesia

  • Focus on building capacity in various anesthesia disciplines, including Pediatric, Obstetrics, Cardiac, and more.
  • Topics may include training programs, skill development, innovative educational methodologies, and case studies highlighting successful capacity-building initiatives.

Track 2: Local Regional and Pain

  • Explore advancements and techniques in local and regional anesthesia, as well as pain management.
  • Topics may include new approaches to regional blocks, pain relief strategies in perioperative care, and research on improving patient outcomes through effective pain management.

Track 3: Global Anesthesia and Education

  • Discuss global perspectives on anesthesia practices and education.
  • Topics may include international collaborations, anesthesia education in resource-limited settings, global health initiatives, and strategies for overcoming challenges in global anesthesia practice.

Track 4: Critical Care Medicine

  • Address critical care management and innovations.
  • Topics may include intensive care protocols, advancements in critical care technologies, multidisciplinary approaches to critical care, and strategies for improving outcomes in critically ill patients.

Submission Guidelines

 

  • Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words.
  • Please include a title, background, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Submissions should align with one of the conference tracks.
  • The deadline for abstract submission is [15 August 2024].
  • Abstracted will be judged on the following 5 criteria:                                         
  1. Originality (20%),
  2. Methods (20%),
  3. Data analysis (20%),
  4. Conclusion (20%),
  5. and Clinical Relevance (20%)

Authors of selected abstracts will be notified by [20 August 2024].
